Existing sellers typically see funds processed within 1 business day of the item being shipped, provided the tracking information shows movement. Payments may take an additional 1-4 business days to appear in your bank account, depending on your financial institution.

All payments on GearTrader are securely processed through Stripe, ensuring a fast and reliable payout experience.

First Sale on GearTrader

For first-time sellers, payouts are released 1-2 business days after the item has been successfully delivered to the buyer. This delay allows GearTrader staff to review the transaction as part of our commitment to protecting our users from fraudulent activity.

• Payment is released only after the transaction has been reviewed and approved by GearTrader staff.
• Tracking information must confirm that the item was delivered.
• Once funds are released, it may take an additional 1-4 business days for the payment to appear in your bank account.

After Your First Sale

For established sellers, payouts are faster:

1. Item Sold & Order Created: Once a buyer completes payment, the order is verified instantly by GearTrader, and the seller is notified to ship the item.
2. Order Cleared for Shipment: Payment is secured, and the seller must provide valid tracking information to verify shipment.
3. Item in Transit or Delivered: Payouts are processed 1 business day after tracking shows the package is in transit. For local pickup orders, buyers must mark the order as "Received" for the payment process to begin.
4. Funds Available for Deposit: Payments are released and ready for transfer to your bank account.
5. Payment Sent to Your Bank: It may take 1-4 business days for the payment to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank's processing time.

Local Pickup Orders

For items sold via local pickup, payouts are processed within 1 business day of the buyer marking the order as "Received."

Why Is There a Delay for First Sales?
